I quietly open my tent window and walk between the thick twisted trees, touching their wrinkled skin. The wind battered branches rustle with music. I look at the greenery I’ve never seen before. This familiar scent of the morning. My favorite kind of silence. I fall asleep and wake up with teary eyes. Each place is more beautiful than the last. It does not matter which way I go. North, South, East, West… Tasmania will surprise me in the most magical way.
I lived in Tasmania for four months. During this time, I visited places taken straight from a guidebook as well as those unknown, hidden under a thick cover of green moss. My heart is sensitive to beauty. I appreciate the smallest things. Tasmania, however, is the only place where I was amazed by natural beauty hundreds times a day. Sometimes I felt like a main character of an adventure movie, and other times like a fairy tale princess. Tasmania is uncontaminated by mass tourism, ideal for those looking to spend tranquil vacation.
why you should visit tasmania
What I love the most about Tasmania is its DIVERSITY. There are 27 mountains, 4500 lakes and ponds in Tasmania, as well as rivers, countless waterfalls and my favorite… the rainforest! No matter where you are on the island – you will never be more than 115 kilometers from the sea. The island can be toured in a few days, but I would recommend spending at least 10 days here. It’s an amazing place for photographers and outdoor lovers!
Today I’m sharing with you my 30 favourite photos that will make you want to visit Tasmania. NOW.
